Learning Journey
I wanted a course that would enable me to gain work experience and learn new skills.

What do you enjoy about your pathway?
I am enjoying my Sixth Form courses. I also have a work experience placement at Grundfos, where I enjoy learning a variety of new skills to use different machines; for example, I have learnt how to use the spline press, which is a machine that makes sure that the rotor and the shaft have the right length and runout. My supervisor is there to support me and tells me how well I am doing.

Would you recommend this pathway?
Yes - I have been given opportunities to learn, to think about what I have to do, to listen and follow instructions safely.

What would you like to do next in your learning journey?
I would like to do an NVQ in Engineering.

What is your career ambition?
My ambition is to be employed at Grundfos; it would be a great place to work.
