General Qualification Pathway

Learning Journey
After completing my GCSEs, I knew that I wanted to study at an FE College because it offers you the opportunity to gain great qualifications while meeting new people. I am currently taking A-levels in arts and science subjects. I chose subjects that would keep my options open because I was unsure as to what I wanted to do as a career when I applied.

What do you enjoy about your pathway?
I'm enthusiastic about my work and I enjoy the depth of learning in my A-level courses; they are academic but that doesn't mean that there is no creativity and practical ways of learning.

Would you recommend this pathway?
I would definitely recommend A-levels because they either enable you to extend your interest and knowledge in subjects that you have already experienced at school, or enable you to study new subjects for the first time.

What would you like to do next in your learning journey?
I would like to go to university to study Psychology, so I'm currently investigating the range of different courses on offer at different universities.

What is your career ambition?
I would like to be a Clinical or Educational Psychologist and work with children and young people.
