Connexions

Connexions Sunderland is a confidential advice and support service for all young people aged 13 to 19 (up to the age of 25 for young people with special needs). Connexions has been set up with the help of young people for young people, and young people have a real say in how the service is run and how it develops in the future.

Connexions offers advice and support on a wide range of lifestyle issues including education, training, careers, employment, health and personal development.

Connexions Personal Advisers

Every Connexions Centre and secondary school has linked to it at least one
Personal Adviser who is on hand to talk about everything from learning, training and employment to problems at home. Your Personal Adviser will get to know you, will offer you the information and guidance that is best for you as an individual, and will help you make positive choices about your future.

From Wednesday 18th August 2010, this Connexions Office will be open until 6.30pm on Wednesday evenings.

This extended opening will operate on a temporary basis for seven Wednesdays, from Wednesday 18th August 2010 to Wednesday 29th September 2010.

This will enable Connexions to offer a service to young people and their parents or carers who may find it difficult to call in to the office during the normal opening hours of 9.00am to 5.00pm.

No appointment is required - just call in.
