Help

The Sunderland Propsectus website has information about learning opportunities and providers in Sunderland. There is also information and advice to help you decide what type of learning you want to do at the ages of 14 and 16.

Getting Started

You can use Course Finder to track down a course, programme or subject you want to study. You can also find out a about the learning provider offering it!

How do I use CourseFinder to find a Course?

If you are looking for a particular course or subject, simply type a key word like "Art" or "English" or "Bricklaying" in the box under Find Course. Then click the Send button. A list of courses should appear. From the list you can click Course Title or Provided by to see more information.

How do I use it to find a Provider?

You can find information about the organisations (providers) who offer courses in much the same way.
Simply type a key word such as "Sunderland" (College), "Rathbone" (Work Based Learning Provider) or "Saints" (for All Saints College) in the box under Find Provider. Then click the Go button. A list of providers should appear. From the list you can click Organisation to see contact details or Options to view the courses offered by that provider.

What if I still don't find what I'm looking for?

If you don't get a result from any of these searches, check your spelling or try typing in a different key word. For example, searching for 'plumber' will not find any matches, but entering 'plumbing' or 'plumb' will give a result.
