Want to know how to get help?
In Year 11 you may feel overwhelmed by the choices open to you at the end of the year. Maybe you are thinking about staying at school or going to college. Alternatively you could be thinking about leaving school and looking for a job with training or an Apprenticeship.
Making serious choices that are right for you needs careful thought. The best advice anyone can offer is to try and understand a little bit about what you want and then get as much information as you can. Hopefully this website will help you get started...
Tips to Help You Get Started
- Remember, it's your life and your decision, so don't let anyone try to make up your mind for you.
- Try to keep your future opportunities open by taking a broad range of subjects.
- Don't just choose the options that your friends are doing - choose what will work for you.
- Don't worry - you can always take other subjects later on to fit in with any new career ideas you may have.
- Remember that you can't always get all the subject choices you want so have reserve options just in case.
