ICT
Technology is part of almost everyone's home and working life. Jobs here will involve computers or telecommunications systems. Some jobs will involve installing and looking after equipment (computers, printers, telephones, televisions, etc) while others will be about developing and using the programs (software) that make them work.
You could work in a number of different places. If you are helping to manage a company's computer equipment or programming, you are most likely to be working in an office. If you are providing technical support, you could spend your day at the end of a telephone answering customer queries, in a workshop repairing equipment or travelling to visit customers and installing cables or connecting or repairing equipment.
Tasks will vary according to the type of work you do. Look at individual Jobs below for more information.
