Land Based and Environment
Working in horticulture is about looking after plants and flowers. Usually you would be working in plant nurseries, garden centres, parks and gardens and would be spending time doing things like planting, weeding, cultivating and pruning plants, flowers or vegetables. If you work in a garden centre, you might also make up orders for customers or work on a till.
Animal Care is about looking after the health and welfare of animals in a variety of different situations. You could find yourself working in an animal shelter, stables, kennels, pet shop or even for a Vet.
